This quote pleases me, it captures what I feel when working with CLAY. I began my studies in the early 1990’s with an extraordinary potter from Japan who taught in California and inspired me with her “Spare and abundant” forms. Thank you, Kaoru Yagi!

Each piece is made by hand, on the wheel, one by one. Slight variations are inherent to the process. May you embrace the small differences that make each pot unique! If you are interested in custom pieces based on the collection, I am happy to create them for you, and each will be one of a kind!
The CLAY bodies fall into two categories…PORCELAIN, for its elegance and whiteness and SPECKLED STONEWARE for warmth. Food will be even more tasty, and flowers more beautiful in these clays.
It is important to me to have the work be affordable to collectors and friends and offer it at net pricing. Galleries and shops will often double this price. Our shipping rates are less than retail as well.
